Omé Studios - Emma Gautier

The story of OMÉ Studios began in 2020. I had just concluded my studies in creative direction; I found myself moving from Canada to France. I realized that I wanted to slow down and stay in the southern pat of France… to be near nature. I joined the creation of an art gallery as a “mother and daughter project” began with a desire to highlight creators we admired. This fulfilling experience enabled me to meet amazing artists, craftsmen, and human beings.
Surrounded by this creativity, I started to develop a growing curiosity and interest for the art of ceramics. I decided to study pottery in a professional forum; for a year, I attended weekly classes where I explored wheel-throwing and a number of different traditional ceramic-building techniques. I immediately wanted to put this “know-how” into practice and once I shaped my first piece… my universe expanded. Today, I am thrilled to dedicate all my time to OMÉ STUDIOS.
