Studio ēeme - Marie-Laure Davy

Studio ēeme was created in 2022 after I moving from New York City to Portugal. When I launched my first collection in 2023, I was still processing this huge lifestyle and career shift… from working in advertising and living in a large city to making ceramics in a creative environment and living in a European coastal town. It is exactly that process and experience that set the stage for my design process. I became more involved with the importance of a healthy mental wellbeing and the physical movements that contribute to the body’s equilibrium. Very quickly I established a rather strong discipline around my days so that I could continue to grow studio ēeme in the best way possible. Recently, I participated in Lisbon by Design 2024, a prominent collectible design fair in Portugal.
