New Adventures: Welcome to Trove

Nothing makes me happier than to travel… and in hopes of introducing myself best, I thought what better way than to share some fun places we’ve visited as a family. Years ago, when my youngest (he’s 17) was about 3, I read somewhere about a family that made it their mission to cross off all 50 states before their youngest child graduated high school.

I thought that was ambitious… but doable. And I am a planner. And I love nothing more than having things in my “fun bucket” So I made this our family’s goal also. I’d say that we’ve been pretty successful; and if success is measured in making memories, than we outdid ourselves.

What were some favorites? What didn’t live up to expectations? What would I repeat? What’s left to cross off? Any suggestions? I will answer all of these questions in my blog, along with recommendations and personal introspective. I have so much to share.

I wanted a “blog section” on Trove’s website because I thought it would be the perfect way to share a bit of myself with all of you who took the time to visit. And whether you are visiting vicariously, by chance, or with a specific intent… I hope you find what you are looking for!

I will sign off, for the first time, with a photograph from last summer. If anyone can guess where this is, I’ll… well, congrats because there is nothing specific that you are going to win. But more to come about this trip from June 2023…
