Chous Ceramics studio is run by a couple, Despina and Giorgos. They are passionate about bringing the beauty of handbuilt ceramics to art enthusiasts worldwide. Despina, with a background in industrial management and banking, and Giorgos, a graphic and web designer with a MA in Digital Arts, have combined their unique skills to create a ceramic studio where art and innovation meet. They are inspired by the desire to create something truly meaningful.
With a growing family in 2022, Despina felt a strong pull towards a more creative and fulfilling life so she left her career in banking to pursue her passion for ceramics. Opening the only ceramic studio in their hometown, Sparta Greece, felt like the perfect next step. Giorgos, with his eye for aesthetics and his expertise in design, brings a fresh perspective to the handbuilt pieces. Despina and Giorgos are devoted to create authentic works of art that celebrate the beauty of nature and the human creative spirit.
