Tatiana Ferreira is a Portuguese designer currently based in Lisbon. She creates unique, handcrafted objects and furniture, using clay as her primary medium. With nearly five years of experience in architecture and at a contemporary art museum, Tatiana felt the need to translate the knowledge gained in these fields into the creation of special objects, fostering a more intimate relationship with handcrafted work.
Since establishing her studio in Lisbon, she has been dedicated to rediscovering the craft side of design. Her work focuses primarily on one-of-a-kind everyday objects, exploring the plasticity of clay, its limits, and the interaction between object and user.
She is driven by the idea that objects have an innate power to enhance the user’s mood through their form and function. Tatiana focuses on both functional and decorative pieces, ensuring that one aspect does not overshadow the other. Her goal is to transform these pieces in ways that are surprising and delightful, elevating the user's experience.
