The Courchevel Dining Chair employs generous proportions in every direction. Its solid French oak frame is cut and worked by hand to capture those subtle, difficult curves, then dressed with a soft, cloud-like seat and backrest. Each piece is produced in northern Italy near Milan by specialised upholstery workshops. Timber is European-sourced and seasoned for stability, while textiles are milled by heritage weaving houses selected for their material clarity and tactile performance. Isabella Wilde, Australian designer and founder of Paloma Editions. For Isabella, design is equal parts intellectual pursuit and lived experience. With a decade immersed in the design industry, Isabella has built trusted relationships with workshops and suppliers across Europe, sharpening Isabella’s design vocabulary of measured geometry, contextual sensitivity and materiality.
Paloma Editions’ key tenets are elegance, balance and rigour combined with lightness, exquisite detailing and a poetic touch. Her Sydney coastal upbringing imbues a free-spirited Australian sensibility while her European heritage anchors a commitment to disciplined craft. Isabella holds an Honours degree in Design from the University of New South Wales’ Arts, Design & Architecture in Sydney, Australia.
