The glassblowers combine the curved lines of the inner shape with the straight lines on the surface to create an impressive contrast. The colorful layers inside the glass create interesting effects, seeming to approach and recede from the observer. The Moser hues of the glass give the 5"-tall Gema vase fullness and contrast with the smooth spherical cut that shapes them into a perfect crystal gemstone. Introduced in 2000.
