Il Corpo II Small Bookends

The resin and stone composite is a set of 2 individual sculptures portraying the upper and lower body parts. Maria designed these to be used as a bookend, but the possibilites are endless.

Marcela Cure, the interiors and objects designer from Colombia, showcases her sculptural celebrations of the female form through her diverse body of work. Marcela Cure’s journey into the world of design and art was shaped by her upbringing as the daughter of an artist mother, coupled with the cultural tapestry of Barranquilla. Graduating in engineering, Cure’s innate passion for creativity led her towards interior design, where her eclectic, upbeat, and Latin-rooted interpretations of contemporary aesthetics found expression in residential and hospitality projects. Today, Marcela Cure’s multidimensional studio offers not only interior design services but also a collection of shoppable design objects. Cure blends craftsmanship with serendipity to create pieces that transcend mere function, becoming conversation starters and focal points within any environment.
