Terra 14

Sale price$993

Part of the Terra Collection, Terra 14 pays tribute to the raw beauty of the earth by embracing the elemental nature of clay in its purest form. This piece is rooted in the textures, tones, and organic irregularities of natural landscapes... highlighting earthy materiality, unrefined surfaces, and sculptural forms that feel as though they were shaped by time itself. Anna drew inspiration from weathered stones, eroded cliffs, and sun-baked soil; thus, each piece in the collection is entirely hand-built; this allows for an intuitive and tactile process where imperfections become a central aesthetic feature. The rough, unglazed surfaces celebrate the rawness of clay. Meanwhile, the soft, flowing contours create a dialogue between structure and fluidity... evoking the way nature gradually carves and shapes the landscape. With a restrained, organic color palette, the Terra Collection seeks to reconnect design with its primal origins. It invites touch and interaction... blurring the boundary between functional object and sculptural art. Each piece serves as a reminder of the grounding and timeless presence of earth— bringing a sense of warmth and authenticity to contemporary spaces. Made from terracotta with gorg and electric components.

Designed in 2022.

About the Maker

Anna Demidova

Anna Demidova is a Lisbon-based ceramics artist and designer whose work is deeply influenced by her surroundings and her lifelong passion for art and design. With a background in interior design and photography, Anna brings a multidisciplinary perspective to her creations. Her journey with ceramics began with a one-month class at a local studio in her hometown, sparking her creative calling.
In 2019, Anna moved to Portugal, where living near the ocean in Lisbon profoundly shaped her artistic vision. Water and liquidity became central themes, inspiring her abstract shapes, soft lines, coarse textures, and restrained color palette. She draws from the fluidity of water and the interplay of light and texture to create pieces that feel organic and alive.
For Anna, shape is the key to her creative expression. Her intuitive and concept-driven approach allows the clay to guide her process, emphasizing natural textures and often foregoing glaze to highlight the raw, tactile quality of the material. Each piece explores the balance between art, craftsmanship, and design.
Anna is more interested in sculptural aspects than the functional part. The portfolio includes lamps, vases, and other design objects that blur functional and artistic boundaries.
Her works evoke bionic shapes, natural textures, and living tissue, reflecting her fascination with the human body and the natural world. She works solely with hand-building techniques, embracing the surprises that emerge during the creative process.
Throughout this time, Anna has already participated in the exhibitions among Europe, Lisbon design week and Paris design week.
She works directly with clients, architects and interior designers around the world to create unique artworks and design pieces.
