Distorted Moon is a sculptural series that embodies the delicate balance between the celestial and the terrestrial. Distorted Moon 04 evokes textured lunar landscapes, where the rawness of the material meets a minimalist and contemplative aesthetic. The surfaces transition between rough, crater-like areas and polished finishes that capture light that is reminiscent of the interplay between shadow and illumination on the moon’s surface. The Moon Series explores the connections between earthly matter and the infinite cosmos, paying homage to natural cycles and the poetry of irregular surfaces.
