This sconce explores the interplay between texture, volume, and light. Sculpted in earthenware or stoneware, Shell Sconce 01 features engraved patterns, polishedor raw surfaces, and striking contrasts between shadow and brightness. This sconce i designed to be hung... evoking abstract landscapes or architectural fragments by blending tradition with modernity. Organic lines and curves merge with graphic details to create a visual harmony that draws attention and enriches the spaces they inhabit.

Siham Djebbar is a Paris based ceramic artist creating handbuilt sculptural pieces that sit between art and design. With a background in marketing and then in interior design and a deep connection to form and texture, her work is intuitive, tactile and architectural. She works primarily with stoneware and earthenware, using slow, ancestral techniques like coiling and pinching. Her multicultural background, having lived in Algeria, China, California and France, informs a practice rooted in organic movement, raw materials and a sense of presence.
