The ECHOE Mirror in black and natural is a hand-sculpted, hand-cast and hand-painted collectible design piece in resin and stone composite. It features an irregular frame with striped detail. The mirrors in “Echoes” reflect perceptions of the self and of reality and juxtapose them to subtle optical illusions. Through reflections confined by joyously flawed and slightly distorted frames, the viewer is resultingly faced with a metamorphic observation of thyself. Quite literally: an imperfect lens on imperfection. This initial series consists of 5 sculptural mirrors of different sizes and colors and with it, Marcela revisits the use of stone composite and celebrates the holistic experience of the handmade. Hand-sculpted, hand-cast, and hand-painted, each of these collectible design pieces is a fun, Dalí-enthused wink at contemporary introspection. Made from a stone and resin composite.

Graduating in engineering, Cure’s innate passion for creativity led her towards interior design, where her eclectic, upbeat, and Latin-rooted interpretations of contemporary aesthetics found expression in residential and hospitality projects.
