The Hyperion Lamp was inspired by Greek mythology; specifically, Hyperion was one of the 6 Titans- the sons of Gaïa, goddess of Earth and Ouranos- god of Air. The sculpure is made from white glass that was handblown in Murano and limestone from the French mountain of Cévennes. This unique piece is mounted with lead and brass.

The piece weighs 20 pounds (stone is 15.5 pounds and glass is 3.5 pounds). Made in 2022.

About the Maker

Laetitia Jacquetton

French artist Lætitia Jacquetton grew up in rural Burgundy, where early experiences in nature shaped her sensibility. Drawn to culture and design, she moved into fashion, working with leading designers and later as art director at Galeries Lafayette in Paris. Over time, she shifted away from the fast pace of fashion toward a more timeless, craft-focused practice.
Influenced by Japanese aesthetics and a deep connection to nature, Jacquetton discovered glassblowing in Okinawa—a turning point that led her to train in Murano, Italy. Now working between France and Italy, she creates minimalist glass pieces incorporating naturally sourced stones, reflecting her commitment to both craftsmanship and the environment.
