Abundance Small - Walnut, White Stoneware- 2

Sale price$1,910

White Folded Wings is part of the the Abundance Collection; here, Studio Ēeme has carved a unique path for itself through a personal approach to wood and ceramics. In combining wood with subtle ceramic waves, the studio has aimed at shaping an intimate narrative around each piece. This new walnut, black and white series was commissioned by the Hotel & Spa: Six Senses Douro Valley for their fall showcase. The artist dove into the notion of expansion, with an exploration of lines, hollows, and textures- resulting into four sensorial pieces; playing with strong outlines, a dark-velvety black stoneware, and crystalline white shapes.

Made from walnut wood and white stoneware. Created in 2025.

19.5" (h) x 15.5" (d)

Due to the raw nature of the wood, each piece will display natural variations, including knots, grain pattern.

About the Maker

Studio ēeme - Marie-Laure Davy

Marie-Laure Davy is a French artist and designer based in Lisbon, Portugal. She is the founder of Studio Ēeme, a
ceramic and design studio creating sculptural lighting, wall and suspended pieces that invite a deeper awareness of
space.
After a fifteen-year career in advertising in New York, she relocated to Portugal to dedicate herself to ceramics. Trained at Ar.Co – Centro de Arte e Comunicação Visual in Lisbon, her practice emerged from a desire to create objects that do more than occupy a room—they shape the way we experience it.
Working primarily with hand-built ceramics, her pieces explore rhythm, light, repetition and material presence. Each
work is developed through an intuitive process that balances sculptural expression with function, resulting in objects that sit between contemporary art and collectible design. Her work has been commissioned for residential and hospitality projects across Europe, the United States and Australia, and includes both collection pieces and bespoke installations.
