Bodice Vase

Sale price$798
Color:Blue

The Bodice Vase is a hand-blown piece that references the corsets worn in the 17th and 18th century; often they were called "pair of bodies." The texture of the glass emphasizes the uncomfortable, constricting feeling of a corset while the term "bodice" references a body constricted. flirting with the term "bodice ripper," a sexually explicit romantic novel or movie with a historical setting.

Studio S II - Erica Sellers and Jeremy Silberberg

Studio S II was co-founded in 2020 by longtime collaborators, Erica Sellers and Jeremy Silberger. Their designs subvert conventions and often layer dualities like corporeality and the mechanical. Studio S II's furniture and interiors elude categorization... embracing the peculiar and uncanny. In 2024, the company was named one of Wallpaper magazine's Top 400, along with other accolades.
Erica holds a BFA in Industrial Design from Rhode Island School of Design; she has over a decade of experience in fine art.
