Brutalist Catchall

Sale price$263
Color:Black

This hand-cast gypsum cement Brutalist Catchall is made in the marker's Brooklyn studio. It is inspired by the architecture of London's Royal National Theatre. The beauty of these sculptural catchalls is that when stacked, they evoke the massiveness of a concrete building. Each of the pigments is part of a limited-edition of 50.

About the Maker

Studio S II - Erica Sellers and Jeremy Silberberg

Studio S II was co-founded in 2020 by longtime collaborators, Erica Sellers and Jeremy Silberger. Their designs subvert conventions and often layer dualities like corporeality and the mechanical. Studio S II's furniture and interiors elude categorization... embracing the peculiar and uncanny. In 2024, the company was named one of Wallpaper magazine's Top 400, along with other accolades.
Erica holds a BFA in Industrial Design from Rhode Island School of Design; she has over a decade of experience in fine art. Erica was Head of Production for Tavares Strachan and led installations at the 55th and 57th Venice Biennales. Jeremy holds a BFA in Film from Rhode Island School of Design and an MFA in Interior Design from Pratt Institute. Jeremy worked for AD100 architecture firms such as Charlap Hyman & Herrero and Sachs Lindores. In addition, he has worked in production design for both television and film.
