Gestural Earth Vessel 126

Sale price$3,000

This sculptural vessel from the Texture & Gesture Collection evokes the wild terrain of an imagined landscape. Formed from converging bodies of black and speckled clay, its surface is carved by sweeping gestures that suggest windswept earth and shifting currents in mid-transformation. Rich with texture and tonal depth, each mark holds both energy and intention, as if shaped by time itself. The vessel is a testament to Beverly’s instinctive dialogue with material and land— a gesture in clay that speaks of motion, memory, and the ever-changing earth. A gestural earth vessel that captures the raw poetry of land in flux— its surface alive with sweeping motion and elemental contrast.

About the Maker

Beverly Morrison

Beverly Morrison is a Los Angeles-based sculptor whose work embodies a deep reverence for nature, movement, and raw materiality. With over 20 years of expertise in clay, she creates sculptural works that evoke both tranquility and dynamism, drawing inspiration from organic forms, natural textures, and Eastern philosophies of imperfection.
Morrison’s process is a dialogue between material and maker, an intuitive "sculptural dance" where each piece develops its own presence. Her signature aesthetic—defined by expressive gestures, tactile surfaces, and evocative lines—seeks to capture fleeting moments of energy and contemplation. She meticulously crafts her own clay bodies, allowing her to form a personal connection with the medium from inception to completion. Her works, often described as Modern Day Relics, offer a meditation on time, earth, and impermanence, inviting viewers to engage in quiet reflection.
Morrison’s work has been featured in LUXE Interiors + Design, the Kips Bay Decorator Show House, and the Pasadena Showcase House. Her pieces are held in private and public collections across the globe and regularly appear in high-end interiors through her collaborations with the design trade.
