White & Gold Vessel 119

Sale price$3,180

With its gently rising lip and curving silhouette, this sculptural vessel moves with quiet elegance. Part of the White & Gold Collection, its asymmetrical form evokes motion in stillness— like a figure caught mid-turn or a wind-shaped bloom. A single sweep of gold glaze arcs across the surface, punctuated by drips and subtle porcelain slip accents that deepen the gesture. The matte white clay body is alive with hand-shaped movement— each mark pressed into the form as part of an intuitive, physical process. Created in a single, uninterrupted session, this piece reflects the raw rhythm and fluid energy that defines Beverly's practice. With sculptural presence and quiet elegance, this textured vessel flows around a sweeping arc of gold glaze— expressive, refined, and full of motion.

About the Maker

Beverly Morrison

Beverly Morrison is a Los Angeles-based sculptor whose work embodies a deep reverence for nature, movement, and raw materiality. With over 20 years of expertise in clay, she creates sculptural works that evoke both tranquility and dynamism, drawing inspiration from organic forms, natural textures, and Eastern philosophies of imperfection.
Morrison’s process is a dialogue between material and maker, an intuitive "sculptural dance" where each piece develops its own presence. Her signature aesthetic—defined by expressive gestures, tactile surfaces, and evocative lines—seeks to capture fleeting moments of energy and contemplation. She meticulously crafts her own clay bodies, allowing her to form a personal connection with the medium from inception to completion. Her works, often described as Modern Day Relics, offer a meditation on time, earth, and impermanence, inviting viewers to engage in quiet reflection.
Morrison’s work has been featured in LUXE Interiors + Design, the Kips Bay Decorator Show House, and the Pasadena Showcase House. Her pieces are held in private and public collections across the globe and regularly appear in high-end interiors through her collaborations with the design trade.
