Lotus Vessel 119

Sale price$5,175

This sculptural work from the Midnight Garden Collection evokes the unfolding energy of a flower held mid-bloom. The form rises with quiet strength, echoing petal-like gestures that feel both intentional and untamed. Sculpted in black clay and finished with a satin surface, the piece catches light along its curves, revealing subtle shifts between shadow and sheen. Though abstract in form, it holds a botanical presence— organic, graceful, and mysterious. It reflects the evolving rhythm and intuitive clarity that defines Beverly's practice. This dark bloom-in-motion captures the quiet tension between elegance and stillness- suspended in a moment of becoming.

About the Maker

Beverly Morrison

Beverly Morrison is a Los Angeles-based sculptor whose work embodies a deep reverence for nature, movement, and raw materiality. With over 20 years of expertise in clay, she creates sculptural works that evoke both tranquility and dynamism, drawing inspiration from organic forms, natural textures, and Eastern philosophies of imperfection.
Morrison’s process is a dialogue between material and maker, an intuitive "sculptural dance" where each piece develops its own presence. Her signature aesthetic—defined by expressive gestures, tactile surfaces, and evocative lines—seeks to capture fleeting moments of energy and contemplation. She meticulously crafts her own clay bodies, allowing her to form a personal connection with the medium from inception to completion. Her works, often described as Modern Day Relics, offer a meditation on time, earth, and impermanence, inviting viewers to engage in quiet reflection.
Morrison’s work has been featured in LUXE Interiors + Design, the Kips Bay Decorator Show House, and the Pasadena Showcase House. Her pieces are held in private and public collections across the globe and regularly appear in high-end interiors through her collaborations with the design trade.
