White & Gold Vessel 126

Sale price$2,160

With its low, full-bodied shape and bold surface contrasts, this sculptural vessel radiates elemental strength. Part of Beverly Morrison’s White & Gold Collection, the form is marked by deep physicality— gold glaze moves across darkened slip and white clay like magma across stone. Subtle porcelain accents bubble through the surface, while the textured clay body carries circular impressions shaped by hand. There's a rawness in the way the materials interact: erosion, flow, stillness, and fire. Created in a single, uninterrupted session, this piece reflects the intuitive rhythm and physical intensity that defines Beverly's practice. This vessel from the White & Gold Collection exudes elemental energy— grounded in ashy texture and ignited by a bold, eruptive gesture of gold.

About the Maker

Beverly Morrison

Beverly Morrison is a Los Angeles-based sculptor whose work embodies a deep reverence for nature, movement, and raw materiality. With over 20 years of expertise in clay, she creates sculptural works that evoke both tranquility and dynamism, drawing inspiration from organic forms, natural textures, and Eastern philosophies of imperfection.
Morrison’s process is a dialogue between material and maker, an intuitive "sculptural dance" where each piece develops its own presence. Her signature aesthetic—defined by expressive gestures, tactile surfaces, and evocative lines—seeks to capture fleeting moments of energy and contemplation. She meticulously crafts her own clay bodies, allowing her to form a personal connection with the medium from inception to completion. Her works, often described as Modern Day Relics, offer a meditation on time, earth, and impermanence, inviting viewers to engage in quiet reflection.
Morrison’s work has been featured in LUXE Interiors + Design, the Kips Bay Decorator Show House, and the Pasadena Showcase House. Her pieces are held in private and public collections across the globe and regularly appear in high-end interiors through her collaborations with the design trade.
