Floral Vessel 121

Sale price$5,290

This one-of-a-kind vessel from the Midnight Garden Collection captures the quiet drama of nature in shadow. Inspired by the structure of long, unfurling leaves, its form rises in layered curves, each handbuilt element twisting upward like growth drawn toward moonlight. The surface is richly textured, revealing the movement of the artist’s hands and the organic memory of botanical life. Crafted in black clay and sealed for a soft finish, the sculpture plays with contrast— light catching the peaks, shadow resting in the folds. Poised between stillness and motion, it speaks to the untamed beauty that blooms in darkness. This layered, sculptural form was inspired by unfurling leaves. Textured by hand, the rising quiet motion comes alive with the untamed beauty of nature in shadow.

About the Maker

Beverly Morrison

Beverly Morrison is a Los Angeles-based sculptor whose work embodies a deep reverence for nature, movement, and raw materiality. With over 20 years of expertise in clay, she creates sculptural works that evoke both tranquility and dynamism, drawing inspiration from organic forms, natural textures, and Eastern philosophies of imperfection.
Morrison’s process is a dialogue between material and maker, an intuitive "sculptural dance" where each piece develops its own presence. Her signature aesthetic—defined by expressive gestures, tactile surfaces, and evocative lines—seeks to capture fleeting moments of energy and contemplation. She meticulously crafts her own clay bodies, allowing her to form a personal connection with the medium from inception to completion. Her works, often described as Modern Day Relics, offer a meditation on time, earth, and impermanence, inviting viewers to engage in quiet reflection.
Morrison’s work has been featured in LUXE Interiors + Design, the Kips Bay Decorator Show House, and the Pasadena Showcase House. Her pieces are held in private and public collections across the globe and regularly appear in high-end interiors through her collaborations with the design trade.
